Globe Fit are proud to be founders of the U.K and World Hula Hoop Championships. 

The first event of it's kind took place on Saturday 6th April 2019 at Fareham college in Hampshire (England).

In 2020 Globe Fit hosted the worlds very first hula hoop championships online. The event saw entries come in from across the globe. All previous years' entries can be viewed here

We want to see your talent with a Hula Hoop, in this years online competition!

We are looking for video clips no longer than 1 and a half minutes long of you showing off
your skills in a short routine of your style. 1 video per entry, multiple clips in a single
video will not count. Where possible please use copyright free music for any soundtrack

over 15 seconds.


Below are 13 categories to upload your entries to, so lets get creative! Entries will be

judged on skill, presentation and creativity.

Note: Beginner refers to those just starting out, or with little to some knowledge and skill
with a hoop. Advanced 
refers to those who have been hooping for a number of years or with lots of

experience in skills and hula hoop moves and who practice regularly.

Single Hula Hoop
(one performer)

• Beginner Under 12's

Beginner Under 16’s
• Beginner Over 16’s
• Advanced
Under 16’s
• Advanced Over 16’s

Multiple Hula Hoops
(one performer)

• Beginner Under 12’s

(for example ribbons, juggling balls, poi)

Please note that there will be an entry fee of £10 GBP to help cover admin and prize costs.
All that p
articipate will get sent a digital certificate. Winners will receive a dated medal. 

Please note that as this competition will be held entirely online all entrants will need to consent to having their videos shared on our social media platforms

We recommend that video routines are no longer than 1.5 minutes long and where possible that you use PPL licence free music due to copyright issues of using the music online. Please ensure that video recordings are clear and audible and please ensure that you/the performer is in clear shot at all times throughout the duration of the video
